Programme accreditation through Edge Hill University

Edge Hill University, the largest teacher training institution in the country, has recognised the value of the training which our in-school programme delivers - and we have now agreed an accreditation arrangement with the University which allows all those with QTS in schools taking our one-year programme to gain further professional qualifications if they so choose.

In essence, teachers who have participated in our One-Year programme will be eligible for  credits at Level 6 (honours degree level) in music education. These credits count as a gateway module into professional development through Edge Hill at Masters Level, and can trigger a process of studying other modules, which could eventually lead to an MA in Education.

Further information for the 2011-12 academic year, and contact details at Edge Hill's Faculty of Education for enquiries will appear here shortly.

Full details about the partnership, and a video case study featuring one of our programme schools, can be found in the Sounding Edge section of Edge Hill's website (please note: clicking directly on the link below will navigate you away from our site - to open the link in a new tab or window, right-click and choose your preferred option)
