We create a supportive and collaborative learning space for educators, inspiring content for parents and in-depth research to share with sector colleagues. Voices Foundation, a leading charity that transforms music education, is delighted to announce receipt of a generous grant award from Paul Hamlyn Foundation of £257,000 over three years. This is the largest grant in the 29-year history of the Voices Foundation.

Voices Mid-Year School Survey 21/22
A total of 165 responses were collected from school staff participating in a year-long Voices CPD programme between February and March 2022. The survey reviewed the qualities of Voices Foundation Practitioners, as well as school staff participation in the CPD programme and the benefits to students.

Music Education Funding in Wales is Trebled to £13.5million
Over the next three years, Welsh government funding for music education will be tripled. The Minister for Education has confirmed that funding for music education will be trebled, with £13.5 million invested over the next three years, as the National Plan for Music Education is released.

The Benefits of Music Activity For Disadvantaged Children
Voices Foundation is thrilled to provide the third briefing paper in our ongoing series of #VFBriefing reports. This paper explores what we know about the impacts of music participation for children experiencing disadvantage. It emphasises that participation in music activities may be extremely helpful, creating an accessible environment through which disadvantaged children can learn, as well as supporting their language and communication skills.
